It is vital that you are proactive and take control of the management of your own project. Your subject teachers will give you activities, assistance, advice, time lines and deadline dates, including information about assessment. However, it is your project and, therefore, your responsibility to know, understand and meet assessment criteria and deadlines. If you find at any time that you are unsure of anything:
1. read the subject outline or other relevant documentation (see the list below)
2. if you are still not clear, ask a classmate what their understanding is
3. if you are still unclear, ask your teacher.

Please check the school deadline policy for clarification.

Use your lesson time wisely! If your teacher asks you to complete an activity, remember that it will be relevant to the required documentation and will be assisting you to collect evidence towards your assessment criteria. You will be expected to take part in and complete any activities your teacher asks you to and it is expected that you will complete a significant amount of research in your own time.

Make sure that you are familiar with the SACE website, check it regularly and keep up to date with developments. Make sure that you read and listen to information given to you during lesson time. Check deadlines and assessment criteria and make sure that you are clear about these.
